Gotthard Live is an independent information service providing real-time traffic data for the Gotthard Tunnel (A2, Switzerland). The data controller can be reached at: privacy@gotthard-live.ch.

2. Data Collected

Gotthard Live does not collect or store personally identifiable data about users. The only information processed is:

• Anonymous navigation data (pages visited, session duration, device type) via Google Analytics 4.
• Technical access data (partially anonymised IP address, browser, operating system) to ensure correct operation of the service.
• Language preference cookie (localStorage, not transmitted to third parties).

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This site uses the following cookie categories:

• Technical cookies (necessary): session management and language preferences. No consent required.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, ID: G-BXX9547XC8): collect aggregated, anonymous usage data. IP addresses are anonymised before transmission.

Aggregated analytics data is retained for 14 months by Google Analytics (default setting). Technical access data is retained for a maximum of 30 days in server logs.
