Scheduled night closures typically occur 1–3 times per month for maintenance. Frequency increases in autumn and spring. ASTRA publishes the schedule on astra.admin.ch typically 1–2 weeks in advance.

Are there closures every night?

No — most nights the tunnel stays open. Closures are concentrated on weeknights (Monday–Thursday) to minimise impact on weekend traffic.
